About Me
My name is Kris and I have survived RAD for 18 years as of late 2012.
Arthritic symptoms first showed in Autumn 1994 at age 15. I was not
diagnosed until the following June, age 16. Treatments have included
Naproxen, Plaquenil, Methotrexate, Arava, and now Humira. I am also a
survivor of near death and two open heart surgeries, both which saved my
life and propelled me to live against the odds and despite the RAD. It is my goal and intention to make a difference in the RAD community, so that others who are going through what I have been through know that they are not alone, that others are here for them and do understand the pain, and to help keep their hope and their fight for living alive despite this debilitating disease.
